Position Summary

Doxprint is seeking a detail-oriented Graphic Production Artist to prepare customer artwork and production files for printing and finishing.

The position will ensure that artwork is technically correct, production-ready, and consistent with approved customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare customer artwork for production.
  • Review files for dimensions, typography, resolution, color, and technical requirements.
  • Prepare files for offset, digital, and specialty printing.
  • Make approved production corrections.
  • Prepare digital and hardcopy proofs.
  • Maintain artwork version control.
  • Ensure only approved artwork is released to production.
  • Coordinate with production and quality teams.
  • Support variable-data and personalized printing workflows when required.
  • Maintain organized production files.
  • Identify potential production problems before files reach the press.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer artwork and information.

Qualifications

  • Experience in graphic production, prepress, or print production.
  • Proficiency with professional graphic-design and prepress software.
  • Strong understanding of print production.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and file-management skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience with certificates, diplomas, specialty documents, labels, foil stamping, embossing, or other specialty printing.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based, with regular visits to the production floor. The essential functions typically require the ability to:

  • Sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Use a computer, keyboard and mouse for most of the workday.
  • Distinguish colors and fine visual detail to review artwork and proofs.

Visits to the production floor involve exposure to operating industrial equipment and moderate to high noise levels. Required personal protective equipment is provided and must be worn in production areas.
