Position Summary
The Anti-Counterfeiting Specialist supports Doxprint’s specialty-printing and document-security products by helping evaluate, implement, document, and inspect approved authentication and anti-counterfeiting features.
The position works across production, graphic design, quality assurance, and engineering to ensure that security-oriented features are consistently incorporated into finished products.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the production and inspection of approved authentication features.
- Review security-oriented printed features against approved specifications.
- Inspect samples and finished products for consistency.
- Identify printing or finishing characteristics that do not conform to specifications.
- Maintain documentation for approved production features.
- Assist with testing and validation of new features and production methods.
- Work with production personnel to troubleshoot quality issues.
- Support development of improved authentication-oriented production processes.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding customer specifications and proprietary production information.
- Document and escalate suspected production irregularities.
Qualifications
- Experience in specialty printing, document production, packaging, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Strong visual inspection skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Understanding of printing and finishing processes.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Preferred Experience
Experience with authentication labels, specialty papers, foil stamping, embossing, holographic products, tamper-evident products, or related security-print applications.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This position divides its time between an office and the production floor. The essential functions typically require the ability to:
- Walk and stand on the production floor for extended periods, and sit at a computer for extended periods.
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Use a computer, keyboard and standard office equipment.
- Distinguish colors and fine visual detail to inspect printed features, including under magnification or special lighting.
Time on the production floor involves exposure to operating industrial equipment, moderate to high noise levels, and inks, solvents and paper dust. Required personal protective equipment is provided and must be worn in production areas.
