Position Summary

The Human Resources & Recruiting Coordinator provides administrative support for hiring, onboarding, employee records, scheduling, communications, and day-to-day HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate job postings, candidate communications, interviews, and hiring paperwork.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR databases.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and coordinate new employee orientation.
  • Process employee status changes and maintain accurate HR records.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment and employee questions.
  • Track attendance, leave, certifications, and required employee documentation.
  • Assist with background checks and pre-employment processes.
  • Support employee communications and HR events.
  • Prepare routine HR reports and spreadsheets.
  • Assist the HR Manager with compliance documentation and special projects.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of administrative or HR-related experience.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable business software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based. The essential functions typically require the ability to:

  • Sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds, such as files, supplies and sample materials.
  • Use a computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone and standard office equipment for most of the workday.

The work environment is a typical office setting within a manufacturing facility, with occasional exposure to production-area noise.
