Position Summary
The Secure Materials Coordinator manages the receipt, storage, tracking, distribution, reconciliation, and documentation of materials used in Doxprint’s specialty and secure-print production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and verify materials against purchase orders and production requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Issue materials to authorized production personnel.
- Track materials throughout the production process.
- Reconcile unused, excess, damaged, and scrap materials.
- Maintain material movement and inventory documentation.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, quality, and warehouse teams.
- Monitor inventory levels.
- Participate in inventory audits.
- Investigate material discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and appropriately controlled storage areas.
- Follow company procedures governing sensitive or specialty materials.
Qualifications
- Experience in inventory control, materials management, manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong recordkeeping abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience with inventory-management software preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive materials responsibly.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This position works in storage, receiving and production areas. The essential functions typically require the ability to:
- Stand and walk for most of the shift.
- Lift, carry, push and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance or lifting equipment for heavier loads.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment after training.
- Use a computer and inventory software to record transactions.
The work environment involves warehouse and production areas with moving equipment and moderate noise. Required personal protective equipment is provided and must be worn.
