Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer develops, improves, and supports manufacturing processes used to produce secure printed documents and related products. The position works across engineering, production, quality, and management to improve reliability, efficiency, quality, and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and improve manufacturing processes.
Analyze production problems and recommend technical solutions.
Develop process documentation, work instructions, and production standards.
Support equipment selection, installation, and qualification.
Analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement.
Work with production personnel to reduce waste, downtime, and rework.
Support implementation of new products and production processes.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance on process-control improvements.
Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Develop and maintain process specifications.
Support continuous-improvement projects.
Evaluate tooling, fixtures, equipment, and production methods.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and process control.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and project-management skills.

Preferred

Experience with printing, converting, specialty manufacturing, secure documents, packaging, or other precision manufacturing environments.
